My Approach
I approach life with all the wonder and wild adventure that comes with it. I often practice from an Existential framework in the understanding that there are certain givens of existence that all struggle with. Through this framework, I operate in an integrative approach that works to meet the needs of each individual client. I often find myself pulling from a trauma-informed approach as I have been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a cognitive behavioral therapy shown to reduce trauma symptoms. Additionally, I have received training that previously qualified me as a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). I value the body-mind connection and take the time to make sure that you are having your needs met holistically.

What to Expect
In the counseling world, we don’t often make promises. That being said, I can promise a safe space when you need it to come and be your authentic self (even if you don’t know what that looks like yet!). From evidence-based coping skills to simply having a space to be seen and heard, each process is different and I will strive to meet you where you are at. Can’t make it in person? No problem! I have gone through training to previously qualify as a Certified Telemental Health Provider Associate (CTMH-A) and will make sure that your care online will be equitable as if we were meeting in-person.
Kare with Korac Podcast
In this space, I get the chance to interview professionals in the field and others from all walks of life as we talk about a variety of mental health topics. With this show, I ask you to join me in doing what one of my favorite philosophers, Thich Nhat Hanh says, "Smile, Breathe, and Go Slowly." This is Kare with Korac (KWK)!
